    1. You navigate to your SolidAngle files, replace the ai.dll file that is already in there with the ai.dll file provided in the crack. (you might want to save a copy of the original ai.dll file somewhere, rename it so you know which one it is, just incase you need to revert back to it for some reason) Then you can do as the below comments instruct with the .lic file.

    1. I had the same question i figured out by my self

      YOu have to leave the .lic file where ever you want (my path was C:/solidangle/2016/) and then , in maya you have to go to the arnold tab and find the help option and in this menu you have a licencing option click on it and a windows will pop out. In this windows you go to the button with this “{…}” and another window will pop out. in this window you have to find your .lic file. then click on install and done . Restart maya and you are DONE!

  2. Thanks! This file seems to work fine, I can render and there is no watermark. However, why is there a red ring that shows up on my screen? (It doesn’t show up in the renders or anything, it just appears on the screen…) Is there any way to get it to go away?
