SOuP is a node based toolkit for Maya artists allowing greater flexibility and a powerful procedural workflow. In this tutorial I discuss the ability to animate UVs using Maya fluids. In fact any Maya deformer will give you the same power. With only 2 SOuP nodes we can create a simple pipeline that gives us access to UVs as vertex points. From here we can deform them directly or create soft bodies and affect them with fields and fluids.
Prerequisites:
Basic working knowledge of Maya. You will need Maya 2013 an the latest SOuP build from _www.soup-dev.
