      1. Hi VIPGFX, Im having a problem when I try to follow the steps, when I enter /private/etc/hosts on the terminal window it says Permission denied. My computer has mountain lion I dont know if that changes anything. Thank you for your help it is greatly appreciated.

16. I’ve got a follow-up, “what if” question.
    (Since we’ve done so wall,so far)

    WHAT IF:
    Something goes wrong with the install and a re-install is needed.
    Deleting the program’s folder may leave nasty little “relics” in the Registry (PC) or “________” (MAC).
    Is there a UTILITY that will COMPLETELY REMOVE ALL TRACES of the CS6 install?
    (I think Adobe may provide one. If so, can if be downloaded?)

    There IS a removal utility available from Adobe:
    Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool
    PC:

    This is to remove the Beta (or Demo) version.
    QUESTION:
    WILL IT ALSO WORK WITH THE Xforce version?

    1. Make sure you copy the ENTIRE request code, up to and including the “=” at the end. Then make sure the entire code pastes into the KeyGen.

23. What happens if I skip step 7 is really confusing, when i try to do it the computer says permission denied, or file does not exist. It also says

    Where is the host file?? how do I get there?

    1. you need to:
       1) open a new folder
       2) on the top bar (the one with the apple logo) there’s a button named “Go” click it! > find the “Go to folder…” button – click it! it’ll open a box
       3) type: ” /private/etc ” in the box. NO -> “”
       4) then search for a file named “HOSTS”. That’s the file.
       5) Open with an editor like coda or TextEdit
       6) and put the IPs inside.
       7) Save,
       8) Authenticate,
       9) You’re done.

26. Got the crack to work previously with lion OS.. Changed Macs, updated to mountain lion and ran a time machine and the license dropped. Ever since I always get serial number entered is invalid. Have tried everything, reinstalling the CS6 suite, restoring the MAC to factory.. EVERYTHING! Please help!! love this tool and want to get it working again

    1. you need to open file in text editor, right click on hosts properties make sure read only is unchecked, press okay, then erase all of the entries:

    after getting the response code i used it to get the activation code thru the keygen.

    when i use the activation code it keeps saying invalid.

    I had installed the program and uninstalled it b4 ( no keygen or crack used at that time).

    My system is a Mac OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion)

    Why does it keep showing invalid? is there any other way?

32. I managed to follow the instructions and everything seems fine till I tried to open the program, and it said that the program is on trial and they will register the program to your adobe ID. Is there anyway to remove all traces of this trial? Thanks!

Problems with the MAC OSX keygen i see in October and I just tried it and noticed that the keygen will not let you copy the serial or paste the codes into the keygen… whats the deal, I tried doing it by eye but its almost impossible ls look like Is and Os look like 0s plus I tried every combo and Adobe keeps saying invalid response code. How can I COPY AND PASTE INTO THE keygen?? tried command c and command v NO GOOD…Im thinking maybe Adobe caught on and they are preventing us from activating with this keygen,. anybody help post here

36. Im copy/pasting the request code into the X-force generator. Im including the full code up to the “=” symbol. I have tried with spaces and with no spaces. Keep getting “bad request code” in the activation code link. Any help?

39. I installed and cracked etc. and then patched hosts file etc. Everything worked for a day or so but then my “trial” ran out. Do I have to competely re-install the CS6 Master suite again or Can I just re-apply the “hack” so to speak?

54. For anyone having issues with the keygen not activating the request code, the issue may be that your windows defender has put the keygen on a suspious list. You will have to go into your windows defender or your antivirus program and take it off the watch list and give it full access.
