We’ll use techniques such as, blocking in large areas of abstract shapes and textures to quickly cover the canvas, as well as using different commands of the lasso tool to quickly carve out shapes for further refinement. We’ll also cover the fundamentals and theories behind speed painting, value relationships, color and temperature relationships, different surface textures and how these elements can best be controlled to create realized believable images.
